Packing for Vacation!

I am leaving for vacation on Friday and am getting very excited.  Yesterday, I started packing and had an assistant.  Ever wonder why God made cats such spastic little freaks that feel the need to get into everything you are doing?  She can be a pain in the behind and such a funny little goofball at the same time.

The Rules of Snuggling

First, you must make sure the dog is clean.

Second, you must convince the dog that snuggling is what he really wants to do. (Actually, she bit him several times until he would lay still and accept her cleaning and snuggles.)

Third, settle in for a nice nap all snuggled together.  How sickeningly sweet is this?

Bath Time

Today is kind of a dreary and overcast….and very muggy and humid.  I think we have a chance for thunderstorms later today or tonight, which will make Petey all kinds of unhappy.  I went outside and sat on my front porch to wait for Glen to get here and to watch the silly sparrows bathing in the dirt at the end of my driveway.  The picture quality is really poor. I had to zoom way in to get them to even show up on the picture.

Then what did the nutty birds do?  The flew across the street where they then bathed in a pool of water.  My poor neighbors driveway never drains.  They always have standing water at the end of their driveway. Again, I apologize for the quality of the picture.  I really need to save my money and get myself a nifty new camera that Glen will have to teach me how to use :o)
