We have lots of spiders running around in our garden. This particular one is a funnel web spider. We encourage them, so they will eat all the pesty bugs we don’t want.
These flowers are also known as black eyed susans and they are growing rampant behind our house this year.
How she knew, I have no idea, but she ran across the house like her tail was on fire and perched on the back of the sofa. She sat, ever watchful.
This is what held her attention captive. A five lined skink.
This skink had more problems that being stalked by a cat. It appeared to have had a run in with a big spider web.
I stood and listened to this bird for quite a while. It sang so many different bird songs, it was truly amazing.
Like Mother Teresa, only better.
