The front of the house is all nice and level now. Only thing left to do is pour cement for the patio area. Lucy and Petey are checking things out.
Moving some dirt…..
Looking good….and going to look awesome when it is all done. Hope they get the cement poured today because old winter is headed our way in a couple of days.
Lucy and Petey were out in the yard doing their thing and I was just snapping random pictures. After downloading them onto the computer, I realized that Lucy appears to have been snacking on God knows what. Dogs will eat anything, so I can only assume it was something that would probably put her on the “don’t kiss me” list.
Happy Valentines Day! It really is a silly holiday, but I still enjoy it. However, Petey and Lucy shower us with love every single day. They don’t need no stinkin holiday 😉
I think we need bigger furniture!
They way Petey is curled up….too bad there is no pool around because his cannon ball form is perfect.
Lilly took the bed in the spare bedroom….a fat fluffy comforter fit for the princess that she is.
Lucy decided on our bed. She looks slightly guilty, like she shouldn’t be on the bed. She looks mighty comfy though.
Petey opted for his own bed. Guess he didn’t feel like sharing with anyone.
Lucy had to go to the vet to have her teeth checked out. I knew of at least one broken tooth. Turns out she had three broken teeth that had to be removed. Poor girl, I felt so bad for her. Had to put towels under her because she was drooling some blood.
Yeah, that’s right, day freaking 9. No work could be done when the weather wouldn’t cooperate. Yesterday a lot of work was accomplished, and hoping tomorrow they get completely done since it is going to rain again.
I had to take Lucy to the vet to get some teeth extracted so I got home at lunch time.
Lunch is now over…..get back to work please.

The view at the end of the day. They are down to only 4 holes….fingers crossed they finish tomorrow.
The birds get to watch all this work going on….they basically have a front row seat. I heard one of the workers making a cooing noise like a dove which made Lila scream. Then I heard laughter erupt outside. I think that each time they make my evil bird scream we should get a discount off the work….sounds like a good deal. 🙂
Lilly: I’m not playing with Glen’s shoestring….It only appears that I am.
Lilly: Ok, nevermind. I am totally going to annihilate this shoestring!
Lilly: You can quit taking my picture now….you’re killing my good time.
