Busy, busy….
The past couple of days have just been a whirlwind. Besides having to work the crappy evening shift, I am getting ready to paint my kitchen, dining room and hall way. All I have accomplished so far is sanding down the area behind the refrigerator where a tall cabinet used to be. Today spakle was applied to all the rough areas. Tomorrow, I will create an even bigger disaster area by moving the pantry area crap. I love the transformation that painting can bring, but the mess that accompanies the process is horrible. It will get better though since I am off for 6 days from work. Will be nice to be away from the salt mine and doing something I have been wanting to do for quite some time.
Side note….today I experienced a first. I was stopped at a DWI checkpoint. It was interesting since I was on my way home from work. I didn’t even know that my hometown was having a checkpoint.
