My life day to day

Rainy…..but awesome!

Yesterday the weather forecast said a slight chance of rain with a high of 70 degrees. What actually happened was rain all day with a high of 52 degrees. So, we didn’t really see much. We drove over to West Thumb and checked out all the thermal features and then drove back through Hayden Valley. Unfortunately all the critters that were out and about the day before decided they didn’t want to come out in the rain. We decided to just call it a day and head back to West Yellowstone. On the last leg of our drive we saw a nice harem of elk and pulled over to check them out. This is a video of a massive bull elk chasing off a younger bull elk that was getting way too close and familiar with the females. Unfortunately the video starts after the big bull bugled. It was so freaking awesome to hear him……wish I could have shared it with you.

A Note From Abroad
