I’m a Nerd
Yesterday Glen and I went to Planet Comicon in Kansas City. We had a blast looking at all things “nerd” like and people watching. The big draw of course was Trektacular. Several cast members from Star Trek the Next Generation were there along with William Shatner, who hosted/moderated their talk panel. We were told that we were not to take any pictures….so I was only able to comfortably sneak four shots.
Of course the first picture I had to take was of Captain Kirk/T.J. Hooker. The picture had to be clandestine because he charges $75 for an autograph and another $75 for a picture.
Wil Wheaton who played Wesley Crusher
LaVar Burton who played Geordi La Forge…..but, in my mind, will forever be Kunta Kinte from the story Roots.
