Foster Failure

Glen and I decided to adopt our foster dog, James.  Calling it a failure doesn’t really ring true.  He is getting a forever home and we are getting a great dog that already fits very well with our family.

James looks pretty happy about it.

  1. That’s one of the many reasons why I couldn’t be a fido foster parent. I’d adopt every one of them. 🙂

It is hard because you do become quite attached to them. We only came to our decision after having to put down our elderly dog. Our other dog, Lucy, gets along with James so well and I didn’t want her to be alone when James got adopted. Not to mention we love James and he loves us back 🙂
