Glen recently bought himself some new winter boots. It wasn’t difficult figuring out what to do with the shoe boxes.

Sadie is my internet browsing helper.
Our foster dog, Wayne, didn’t work out here and had to be moved to a different foster home. In his place we got Lola. She is a shephard/lab mix and is about four years old. She is a very sweet girl, except she doesn’t really care for the company of other dogs. She tolerates our two hounds, but everyday there is some growling going on.
Lola loves a good belly rub.
She is such a pretty girl and hopefully someone will see her face and just fall in love.
It didn’t take her long to find “doggie TV”…ie: watching squirrels out the front window.
I bought a couch cover in an attempt to keep the pet hair off the sofa. Sadie loves to get under it and run around like an idiot lovingly spreading cat hair everywhere.
Our newest foster dog’s name is Wayne. I’m not sure who comes up with these names, but Wayne is just a weird dog’s name. The vet thinks he is about 10 years old and he has some health and mental issues. His health issues I mentioned in a previous post. As for the mental issues, he has separation anxiety. I have had no experience with a dog that didn’t behave well when left alone. However, Wayne is learning how to enjoy being an inside dog and accept love and affection.
Lily has been having some issues of late, and is now on some medication to help with her anxiety. She has since decided the dog’s bed is hers.
It took a narrow band of sunshine for these two to decide they could share.
Last Saturday I took Lulu to Lenexa, Ks for an adoption event. It was a special one, all the dogs got to go for a swim in the pool
The Lenexa Police Department was there as well demonstrating their canine officer.
Finally, here are the happy hounds swimming.
These two fight like true siblings. God forbid they share 🙂
Like Mother Teresa, only better.
