On the Hunt

Since it has warmed up some we decided to take a stroll in the timber behind our house where we came across this twisty tree.

Thought Bubble

Glen and I took the dogs out for a walk the other day and we got to visit with the horses that live across the road from us.  I noticed that this particular horse has a marking on its forehead that looks just like a thought bubble….at least to me.  What do you think?

Snow geese coming in for a landing on the lake.  All systems are good, flaps and landing gear are down.

Yesterday was a glorious day.  The temperature got up to 70 degrees and it was full of sunshine.  This was the sunset that we got to enjoy.

Glen and I ventured out to our city lake Sunday.  There was a huge flock of snow geese circling the lake before coming in for a landing.

Winter Casualty

Last week it finally warmed up and everything started to thaw.  Went for a short walk and found this poor little box turtle that had been frozen in a pond.
