No Name Yet
Saturday we went and picked up our newest foster. She was found abandoned with her seven puppies. Her pups are old enough that they went to separate foster homes. As of yet, we are still trying to come up with a good name for her.
Another Success
Last night our foster dog, Lola, was adopted!
I think she really hit the jackpot with this family. Don’t you just love happy endings?
Daydreaming About Her Forever Home
Saturday Lola and I attended an adoption event in Belton, Mo at the Petsmart. She always gets very nervous at these events and after about an hour turns her back on everyone in an attempt to hide. However, on this fine day, there was a nice young couple that came in anticipating a meet and greet with another foster dog. Well, as it turned out, the other foster dog was not able to attend. Lola summoned up her courage and showed them what a great dog she is. Hopefully we will hear from them sometime this week.
Weird Weather
This winter has been so warm. Yesterday it got up to 60 degrees. I happened to have the day off, so Lucy and I decided we needed to take advantage of the warm weather.
We weren’t the only ones that thought it was a good day to be out and about.
Claimed
It amazes me what they charge for dog clothes and they are so cheaply made. James’ dog sweater got a hole in it and needed to be fixed so I got out my handy dandy portable sewing kit. Sadie thought the kit was fantastic! As you can see she was trying to claim it for herself. She looks pretty pleased with herself doesn’t she?
Our Toilet Paper is not Safe
Our cat, Sadie, enjoys destroying rolls of toilet paper. Something about shredding it is very satisfying. If she could, she would do the same thing to a roll of paper towels.
