I have no idea what kind of butterfly this is. I came across it last week on a hike during one of our warmer days.

Lunar Eclipse
Glen and I stayed up Monday night so that we could watch the lunar eclipse. It was kind of cloudy and we were afraid we weren’t going to get to see any of it. Thankfully, the clouds parted and we got several good shots.
This last picture was difficult to get since there was very little light for the camera to capture.
Clothes Line Construction
Glen is such a sweetie! He constructed and installed a clothes line for me. I know for some, this would seem a strange thing to be excited about. I love being able to hang clothes/sheets out to dry in the fresh air and sunshine.
The construction phase….
Installed and ready to go. Naturally, after getting it all done the weather took a nose dive and it snowed again. Come on spring!
Buds
I’m not sure what kind of tree this is. The buds were pretty large, so I was thinking it may be a tulip tree.
Forsythia
It is finally starting to look like spring. I went for a hike on a trail yesterday and saw a bunch of forsythia growing wild. I hadn’t realized it had bloomed yet.
She’s Blurry
She’s blurry because she is constantly on the move. It is always exciting to be out of your cage.
On the Hunt
Don’t be fooled. Our front yard is chock-full of acorns. Guessing he was trying to find the perfect one.
Tummy Aches
Poor old Petey has been having tummy aches a lot lately. Ended up taking him to the vet where I spent a bunch of money to find out everything was good and to just give him pepto. I was relieved to hear the vet say his blood work was normal. Matter of fact his blood work was so good the vet was shocked that it belonged to a 14/15 year old dog.
