Lucy and I went for our walk yesterday evening and noticed we have another new neighbor.
Our new neighbor is a very cute baby horse.
It stuck very close to momma and momma didn’t appreciate me or my dog walking by….especially since we paused in the road to try to get a picture.
I took the camera out with me when I went to the garden last night. I knew there was a nest in one of our tomato plants and I wanted to get a picture of it.
This angle makes it look like a horrible rats nest so I thought I would try to get a different and better picture.
Babies!!! I thought the nest was abandoned. I quickly snapped a picture, picked the ripe tomatoes on the plant and crept away.
This was taken Saturday night, before the “supermoon”. Unfortunately, Sunday night was way too cloudy for any celestial viewing.
Spiders have decided that our front porch is the place to be. Since they give me the heebie jeebies, Glen graciously took the pictures.
This probably makes us sound like horrible people, but we routinely go outside and get moths to bring in the house just so the cat will have something to chase around.
Found this spider lurking in the zucchini plant. Needless to say, I didn’t get any zucchini picked.
The bunnies around here appear to know where Lucy’s invisible fence boundaries are. This fella was out lounging where Lucy couldn’t reach.
We have lots of spiders running around in our garden. This particular one is a funnel web spider. We encourage them, so they will eat all the pesty bugs we don’t want.
Like Mother Teresa, only better.
