Glen picked some fresh flowers for me yesterday. They look like little daisies and are quite pretty. The true name of this flower is anthemis cotula, but is commonly called stinking chamomile due to its unpleasant odor and its resemblance to the true chamomile. Although they may smell horrible, they brightened my day 🙂
My friends, Ila, Vickie and I had our annual Christmas girls day out yesterday. We went down to the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. We decided to eat at the restaurant Zocalo. The food was very tasty and the adult beverage that I ordered was call a gin blossom and it was fantastic!
We had our waitress take our picture, which as you can see didn’t turn out that great.
We had a great time. Wish we could manage to spend more time together.

Vickie loved the flower baskets and wanted a picture with them. Here she is being silly.
