Patience paid off. I finally got some good shots of the little gray tufted titmouse last week.
A female goldfinch visited our bird feeder recently. They aren’t as pretty in winter…however, spring is just around the corner.
The weather this last week ha been really nasty. As a result, the bird feeder was very, very busy. Of all of the birdies, we got a single red winged black bird that came to feed. Beautiful bird.
This picture is somewhat blurry because this little bird is fast. How fast was it? It was so fast I didn’t think I got its picture taken. It was a very cold day and it was a frenzy of activity at the bird feeder.
This is the red bellied woodpecker that has been eluding me. I was finally able to sneak up and get a few pictures before it flew off. It really has been enjoying the suet we put out. Good fuel on a very cold day.
Like Mother Teresa, only better.
